Course Description
Reviews the practices and procedures of the federal Food and Drug Administration, the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Florida Board of Pharmacy. Describes the requirements for compliance with the federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act, the federal Controlled Substances Act, and the Florida Pharmacy Act, as well as the administrative rules promulgated under the authority of these statutes. Discusses the steps that can be taken by pharmacists to voluntarily comply with the applicable legal requirements.
Purpose
Regulatory compliance with state board of pharmacy disciplinary requirement, or in anticipation of disciplinary action.
